Tyler Road Elementary School receives a $2,000 Agents for Change grant

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan’s Agent Charitable Fund (ACF) and the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies (MFBFoC) are fighting food insecurity across the state, awarding $22,000 in Feeding the Future and Agents for Change grants in February.

Nine nonprofit organizations across the state were recently awarded $16,000 in Feeding the Future grants to end food insecurity in their communities. Feeding the Future grants are administered by ACF, who will award $100,000 in grants this year.

Eligible recipients are nominated by their local Farm Bureau Insurance agent and selected by a committee of ACF donors based on the need of the organization, population being served and overall goal of the program. The next round of Feeding the Future Grants is open, and grants will be awarded up to $3,000 per organization.

Jeffery nominated Tyler Elementary who was selected to receive a Feeding the Future Grant. Funds will be used to provide daily snacks for students during the school day.
